Established in 1996, we are brewers of beer, and makers of wine and mead. We meet monthly to share and compare our homebrew recipes, techniques, and of course to sample each others creations. We usually take our meetings on the road to one of the many quality breweries in the area or members house.
The schedule for the 2011 - 2012 Club Only Competition(COC) has been released. Take a look and start planning your brewing. A reminder these dates are the national due dates and our date will be about 2 weeks before. We will post due dates on the club calendar and in the forum. Specialty/Experimental/Historical Beers
Entries are due Oct 15 & judging will be Oct 29.
Hosted by David Houseman and the Brewers United Zany Zymurgists (BUZZ) club of West Chester, PA, this competition covers BJCP Category 23. Entries must specify the experimental nature of the beer (e.g. type of special ingredients used, process utilized or historical style being brewed), or why the beer doesn't fit an established style. Additionally, the entrant may specify an underlying beer style. For historical styles or unusual ingredients/techniques that may not be known to beer judges, the brewer should provide descriptions of the styles, ingredients and/or techniques used.
