| Hints
For Using The Pico System |
| |
- In the mash you should make sure you
have the two pieces of false bottom that
fit the best together and make sure you
have them pressed down as tight as possible,
watch the center seam.
- In the boil kettle bag your hops and
don't use the false bottom at all. Nor
the pipe that lead to the bottom. The
pipe just pulls everything off the bottom
that has settled while cooling. This is
the junk that will plug the pump, at the
worst time. You should also end up with
a cleaner primary and of course an even
cleaner secondary.
- It appears that the "clog"
we are seeing is stuff clogging those
scrubbies at the bottom. Anybody using
in future should plan NOT to put them
below the outlet pipe. The problem is
not the pumps.
